Assessment on ESCO business model and strategy development of energy efficiency in Serbia

Consultancy description and goals:

These project are an introductory study into sustainable EE-related financing models and are a basis for discussion among stakeholders who need the funds for refurbishment, and those able to provide it.

GDP has provided consultancy regarding identifying key stakeholders, atlas of relevant legislation in the area of energy efficiency and public sector financing, assesssed the systemic obstacles and dissincentives for ESCO implementation, and identified suitable building typologies for refurbishment action.

Results:

Principal conclusion identify public buildings that could be refurbished using ESCO financing models, as well as their typology, according to conclusions of TABULA project.
